What is PTE?

 For non-native English speakers, the PTE (Pearson Language Exam) is an English language assessment test. The examination is conducted under Edexcel, the world's largest testing body. Three forms of PTE level assessments are eligible, namely PTE General, PTE Academic (launched in 2009), and PTE Young Learners.

 The PTE scores are used to assess a person's ability to speak, write, and read in English. PTE technology is commonly accepted across the globe. The PTE test aims to assess the ability to grasp the English language meaning, so students can understand the subjects taught at the university that is in English. PTE results from the aim to show whether the student is adequately qualified to attend college or move to an English speaking country.

    1. PTE General

     Pearson Test of English General (PTE Common) formerly known as General English Test of London. PTE General Examination is a thematic assessment intended to assess how well the test taker can interact in real-life and realistic life scenarios in English. The exam is usually only done for the progress of the English language.

    2. PTE Academic

     Pearson Examination in English, Academic (PTE Academic) was introduced in 2009 and is approved by the GMAC. PTE Academic Test is a computer-based evaluation designed to determine the ability of the exam-takers to pursue a university program from a native English speaking country. For admission purposes, most universities accept the PTE Academic ranking.

    3. PTE Young Learners

     Pearson Test in English for Young Learners (PTE Young Learners) formerly known as London Children's Language Exams. The curriculum is intended to measure the abilities of children studying English as a foreign language.

    PTE Score Validity

     The findings of PTE Academic tests are posted on the PearsonVUE website. For up to 2 years, individuals can access the PTE Academic results. The PTE result is quick and easy to access.
