What Is The SAT?

 As part of the admission process many colleges need scores from the SAT or ACT exams. Your SAT score is an important part of the college applications.

 The main difference between the two modes is the spoken portion of the test which is replaced in the paper-based test by the section on the structure and written expressions.

About SAT

 The SAT is an entrance test that colleges and universities use to determine enrollment. The SAT is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper examination developed by the College Board and conducted.

 The SAT aims to assess the readiness of a high school student for college and to have one standard data point for colleges that can be used to compare all applicants. In addition to your GPA high school, college admissions officers may review standardized test results, the courses you take in high school, letters of recommendation from professors or advisors, extracurricular experiences, application interviews, and personal essays. How big SAT scores vary from school to school in the college application process.

 Overall, the higher you score on the SAT or ACT, the more options for attending and paying for college will be available to you.

When Should I Take The SAT?

 In the spring of their junior year or fall of their senior year, most high school students take the SAT, ACT, or both. If you need to increase your score before going to college, it's necessary to have time to retake the exam. What Is On The SAT?

There are two major sections in SAT

 Math

 Evidence-Based Reading and Writing

 Essay

Even the SAT contains an optional section on Thesis. SAT Essay scores are recorded separately from the test scores in general. Some institutes can require you to complete the SAT Essay. On the school site or our school pages, you can check the admissions criteria of each institution.

How Long Is The SAT Exam?

 The SAT lasts 3 hours. The exam will be 3 hours and 50 minutes if you want to do the SAT with Thesis.

How Is The SAT Scored?

 Each part of the SAT is graded on a point scale of 200 to 800. Your overall score for the SAT is the text of your scores in portion. 1600 is the best score available for SAT. You'll be given a different score if you take the Test.
